Go Green Development Consortium, Inc. of
Poultney, Vermont, Charts New Course for 2009
(Revision)
Times have changed in the past 12 months and we need
to change with them. It’s time for education
to take the lead in “GOING
GREEN”. Emphasis is to be placed on Green Job Creation.
Current News
Release:
After five years
of Research and Development, Bill Corbin, President of Poultney, Vermont based Go Green Development Consortium, Inc.
suppliers of Geothermal Heating and Cooling Heat Pumps and Geoexchange Systems, announced today that the Company will develop
a Green Jobs Training and Information Center in Poultney that will be a fully Green facility. Using not only Geothermal ground source energy, the Company will also incorporate
a solar component that will be used to reduce the cost of energy in the facility to nearly nothing, while at the same time
making it environmentally friendly, Corbin noted.
The facility, the location of which is yet to be announced, will be used as a model for the future and a
place where people can come to gather knowledge on how these systems work and a place where training will be available for
installation, sales, and other aspects of the Green Technology Industry. We will
have sessions where builders can come to learn about Green Building in America
and all the benefits of it including Leeds building qualifications. There will be sessions for home owners to attend to learn how they can “Green
Up” their home and save countless dollars annually by doing just a few simple things.
Green products will be on display from cleaning supplies to packaging materials, from energy saving light bulbs to
winterization information and instruction.
.
Our plan is to
make people aware of the benefits of “Going Green”. We plan to work
with the Educational System we have here in Poultney, starting with the elementary school, following up with the High School
and finally working with Green Mountain College. If we begin now in a few years we will have children that can enter GMC with a host
of knowledge about ways to save our environment and reduce our reliance on foreign oil.
It would be nice if some of our local kids would go to College right in their own home town. Green Mountain College has a great Sustainability Program and I fully intend to
work very closely with GMC to bring this about.
Within our network
of Green friends three more similar facility are being planned, one in Missouri, one in Indiana and one in California. The facility in Missouri will feature on Biomass development and particularly Bio-diesel as a fuel source with a look to the future in developing
fueling centers for Natural Gas vehicles and Bio-Diesel vehicles. Indiana will incorporate the Technologies of California, Vermont and
Missouri and will also be a central manufacturing and distribution
center for the US. California plans on working on Solar and Wind. We
will work with all three for additional knowledge to bring to our facility.
There are going to be millions of what are now being labeled “Green
Jobs” available all over the world in the years to come and I hope that many of our area students and residents can
fill the void that now exists in Green Technology Knowledge. As things develop,
we will have further announcements about our progress. As in all major undertakings
we have a few obstacles to overcome but hopefully we will be fully operational within the next six months. Corbin closed by
