Go Green Development Consortium, Inc. of
Poultney, Vermont, Charts New Course for 2009/2010
(Revision)
Times have changed in the past 12 months and we need
to change with them. It’s time for education
to take the lead in “GOING
GREEN”. Emphasis is to be placed on Green Job Creation.
News Release:
After five years
of Research and Development, Bill Corbin, President of Poultney, Vermont based Go Green Development Consortium, Inc.
suppliers of Geothermal Heating and Cooling Heat Pumps and Geoexchange Systems, announced today that the Company will develop
Green Jobs Training and Information Centers in Vermont and Indiana that will be
a fully Green facilities. Using not only Geothermal ground source energy, the
Company will also incorporate solar and wind components that will be used to reduce the cost of energy in the facility
to nearly nothing, while at the same time making it environmentally friendly, Corbin noted.
The facilities, the locations of which are yet to be announced, will be used as models for the
future and places where people can come to gather knowledge on how these systems work and a place where training will
be available for installation, sales, and other aspects of the Green Technology Industry.
We will have sessions where builders can come to learn about Green Building in America
and all the benefits of it including Leeds building qualifications. There will be sessions for home owners to attend to learn how they can “Green
Up” their home and save countless dollars annually by doing just a few simple things.
Green products will be on display from cleaning supplies to packaging materials, from energy saving light bulbs to
weaterization information and instruction.
.
Our plan is to
make people aware of the benefits of “Going Green”. We plan to work
with the Educational System we have in each area, starting with the elementary schools, following up with the High Schools
and finally working with the local Colleges. If we begin
now in a few years we will have children that can enter College with a host of knowledge about ways to save our environment
and reduce our reliance on foreign oil.
Within our network
of Green friends two more similar facility are being planned, one in Delaware and one in California.
There are going to be millions of what are now being labeled “Green
Jobs” available all over the world in the years to come and I hope that many of our area students and residents can
fill the void that now exists in Green Technology Knowledge. Corbin closed by noting that anyone interested in participating in this venture can call him at 802-287-5186 or
